Nayantara and Victory Venkatesh paired up with each other in two blockbuster film until now - Lakshmi and Tulasi. Both of them were biggest hits in Venkatesh's career back then. The pair was brought together yet again for Venkatesh's next, Babu Bangaram. Nayan was give her career best pay cheque for the film.
Despite all this, Nayantara is not all co-operating with the makers. She is giving importance only to her Tamil commitments and is not allotting dates to Babu Bangaram. The makers have finished the parts not needing her first but now needs her dates so as to release the film for April as planned. So they are eagerly waiting for her now.
Babu Bangaram is being directed by Maruthi who became a synonym of success in recent times. The movie is also making good business already and is likely to register Venkatesh's career best pre-release business in solo movies. Ghibran who composed music for Gopichand's Jil will be composing tunes for this movie. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is producing the film under his Sitara Entertainments banner.
