Prabhas, Rana, Tamannah and the other members of Baahubali team recently attended the GAMA Awards in Dubai. As expected Baahubali amassed most of the awards across all the categories. At the event, Young Rebel Star Prabhas revealed several things about the magnum opus project and one of it is Rajamouli's earlier plan to shelve Baahubali.
"When we initially traveled together for the project, we are skeptical about it. The film slowly panned in to Two parts and went on becoming bigger and bigger as days pass by. Budget also swell by leaps and bounds. We are confused if we are taking a very big risk. At one point, Rajamouli even thought of shelving the project totally. But later we went on and now it created history," Prabhas said.
Baahubali — The Beginning went on to amass 600 Crores and is a big hit across all the languages it released. It is even a big hit in Bollywood too. And now only sky is the limit for the hype and expectations on the second part, Baahubali — The Conclusion. 40% of the movie shoot is already complete with the first part. The team recently completed a schedule in Kerala and are currently shooting in RFC. They are planning for early 2017 release for the movie.
