Mahesh Babu's 'Brahmotsavam' might have caused upset to fans as it is getting persistent delays. But now we hear from close sources that the movie will get release on May 27th at any cost. The source said to us that Mahesh Babu forces the team to release the movie at any cost.
The reason is it gives two weeks of time in India before schools start. Also Mahesh has one more reason to choose that date. That weekend happens to be a Memorial Day long weekend in USA. The following Monday, May 30th is a holiday. So Mahesh prefers the same date.
An overseas distributor said, "From a trade analyst's point of view, this is the best weekend to release a movie in USA. This is the first long weekend of the year for most people and it is summer time. No excuses not to watch overseas King Mahesh babu’s movie. I won’t be surprised if Mahesh Babu breaches $700k if release is planned well unlike recent movies.
And if movie gets good word of mouth, it can easily fetch $1.5 Million to $2 Million on opening weekend." The overseas distribution rights are bagged by Classic Entertainments. They have bought the rights of the movie for 13 Crores and this is highest ever for a Telugu movie.
