Even Small and lead heroes started to do such kind of movies after that.
But everything has a saturation point. Mahesh Babu was the first actor to start 'Family trend' movies and he started it with 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. It was a clear family entertainer and both Mahesh and Venky did lead roles.

Even though movie never had anything special, it brought a fresh air to the industry. And immediately this genre attracted other heroes too. Immediately we got, Attarintiki Daredi of Pawan Kalyan, S/O Satyamurthy of Allu Arjun, Srimanthudu of Mahesh Babu, Mukunda of Varun Tej and so on.

Everyone of them were Blockbusters due to the new trend. And now the saturation point has reached and Mahesh Babu himself ends the trend with 'Brahmotsavam'. With this failure, we can expect other heroes to step back.
