Creative director Gunasekhar who is known for his extravagant artistic sets in films like Mrugaraju, Okkadu,Arjun and Sainikudu dared to be different and came with a film on Kakateeya Queen Rudramadevi. After extensive research he decided to come with Rudramadevi-The Warrior Queen, India's first ever historical film in 3D.
Gunasekhar overcame many financial difficulties and tensions as he invested his pride,money and everything in the film. Finally RUdramadevi arrived with Anushka,Rana and Allu Arjun in lead. Many felt had the film hit the screens before Rajamouli's Baahubali,it would have done even better.
Rudramadevi however generated tremendous interest across the country thanks to Baahubali. The film collected more than 80crs. Gunasekhar announced that he will come with sequel for the film Prataparudrudu.
Many are wondering who will be Prataparudrudu. One can ruleout Allu Arjun and Rana as they already starred in the first half. So now Chiranjeevi,Balakrishna,Mahesh Babu,Prabhas,NTR names come up. It is known that NTR showed in Gunasekhar's Rudramadevi when he contacted him for Gona Ganna Reddy.
He asked him to turn it into powerful entertainer around Gona Ganna Reddy which Guna refused to do. Gunasekhar is trying to contact all top stars and once a hero give green signal,film will go to sets.
