Superstar Mahesh Babu's last film, Brahmotsavam had completed its full run at the box office. The movie had collected about 35.47 Crore Share in its full run and ended up as double disaster. The movie which had seen a pre-release business of about 74 Crore which means a sensational loss of over 39 Crore.
Brahmotsavam ended up as the Second biggest disaster of all time in the entire South. Only Rajinikanth's Lingaa is bigger failure than Brahmotsavam. There are demands from trade to reimburse the losses at least to some extent. Here is the breakup of Brahmotsavam Final Total Collections:
