Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna who is shooting for his Prestigious 100th film, Gautamiputra Satakarani, announced that he will be working with Creative director, Krishna Vamshi for the 101th project of his career. The movie is titled 'Raithu' and is about various problems faced by farmers in the country.

Interestingly, this story is penned by Priyadarshni Ram who is in the management of TDP's rival Newspaper, Sakshi. Even though there is a Sakshi link to the project Balayya is not worried and have the clarity that films and politics are different. Raithu will go on floors early next year. Ram earlier directed Manodu and then with Toss. He appeared on screen in Toss during a dance sequence with Raja and recently a little role in Charmi's Jyothi Lakshmi.

Krishna Vamsi is currently directing Sundeep Kishan's Nakshatram. Once Nakshatram releases, Krishna Vamsi will begin pre-production works of Raithu. Balakrishna was to do Raithu as his 100th film, Krishna Vamsi even worked on the script for couple of months. But then Balayya opted for Gautamiputra Satakarani in the last minute.
