Nayantara is one of the senior star heroines in Telugu Cinema Industry. Even after her prime, she is in good demand for Senior Heroes. The actress is one of the highest paid heroines in neighbouring industry. Due to the popularity there, the actress often demands hefty remuneration. Now, the actress had increased it further.
Currently, the actress has close to three films in her hand that are due to hit the screens by the end of the year. Although the actress was previously paid close to 2.5 crores per film, the buzz is that she has increased her remuneration to 4 crores for new films. We are told that Kollywood makers are ready even for that amount given her super form.

So, no actress in South was paid such huge amount. Even though Kollywood will afford such amount, Telugu Cinema is unlikely to invest such big amount on a heroine and may well look at the other options they have. Nayantara was last seen in Victory Venkatesh's Babu Bangaram which released a couple of months ago.
The actress troubled the makers big time without giving them the dates. They had to leave out a song and release their film finally. She did not even a single promotional event of the film including the audio launch event. So, it may not be a wise investment on her in Telugu Cinema going further.
