The year 2013 has started well as all the films of big heroes have done well at the box office. To an extent, even the songs have been good enough. But if one has to compare, two films did better than the rest in terms of songs. They are ‘Mirchi’ and ‘Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’. But who was better among the two let us see.
‘Mirchi’ songs got thumbs up from all genres of audience and it won in a big way. The plus for this was the energetic music and the variety in songs was also appreciable. In the case of ‘SVSC’ being a family movie and the genre of songs being melodious, it settled to attract less number of music lovers.
Mickey J Meyer who composed for ‘SVSC’ is not well known for composing mass numbers or native flavored tracks. His songs are more class and soothing melodies. DSP is again a commercial music maker and his experience in understanding the taste of the Telugu audience is also high. That’s how his film worked well.
