Though he is from Chennai it must be said that Prabhu Deva is no longer part of it and his new home is Mumbai. Bollywood has welcomed him with open arms and he is doing very well with big films on hand. But now it is heard that one film of his has put him in trouble in Tamil Nadu.
The reason for that is one of the heroines in the film ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ known for her hot sex appeal and glamour. She is none other than Jacqueline Fernandez. It is heard that a political party in Tamil Nadu named Hindu Makkal Katchi (HMK) is creating big trouble on Prabhu taking Jacqueline. The reason for that is, Jacqueline happens to be from Sri Lanka.
The last few months say how Tamil Nadu was against Sri Lanka for the atrocities committed against Sri Lankan Tamils by the local government. So now, the HMK feels Prabhu Deva should not take Jacqueline because she comes from that country. Fact is, Jacqueline is now part of India. We have to see how Prabhu Deva will handle this now.
