From the time Pawan Kalyan has been working on his new film with director Trivikram Srinivas many have been eager to know its title. In between, few speculations came that the film was titled as ‘Kobali’ and few others have mentioned that Trivikram is searching for titles which show full Teluguthanam.
Now, it is heard that the title is almost finalized and it is ‘Atharintiki Daaredhi’. To those who are not aware, this title finds it origin in the age old traditional games that we used to play like ‘Tokkudu Billa’ ‘Chamma Chakka’ and others. One among them is a game usually played with kids wherein two fingers are kept on the person’s hand in walking style it is taken to near his/her shoulder and tickled.
Then the person is asked ‘Atharintiki Daaredhi’. The same title has been used in many stories for Chandamama and Swathi magazines. If this is indeed the title of the new film then it goes to show how Trivikram has got interest in getting out the Telugu flavor. How Pawan fans will receive this is another issue though.
