Shilpa Shetty gained immensely from Big Brother racism controversy as she even became the show's winner and then getting plum contracts. However now she and her husband Raj Kundra are involved in IPL spot fixing and betting controversy which may even lead to their arrests.
Till the spot fixing controvery did not touch them, owners of Rajasthan Royals, Shilpa and her husband Raj were heaping praises on media and Delhi police. But the moment Raj Kundra's passport was seized, Shilpa vent her fury on media and police.
Now it is known that Raj confessed to spot fixing and betting. However Shilpa denied that she too was involved in betting. However Delhi Police revealed that Shipa spent money on betting in one IPL match.
Though Shilpa termed it as complete nonsense, her husband's business partner Umesh Goenka revealed the same. Umesh acted as their bookie.
