Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' is already declared as 'Blockbuster' and the movie is doing an exceptional business in Overseas. Especially in the USA, the movie tops the chart among all other Sankranti releases.
But, in the Domestic circuit, it is completely upside down. 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' can't even collect half of 'Khaidi No 150'. A leading Trade analyst reported that, 'Khaidi No 150' ticket prices are exaggerated due to the hype.
If ticket prices and the number of locations were same, Trade pundits predicted that 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' could have been the easy winner for this Sankranti as well. The arrival of 'Mega Star' after a long hiatus also raised hype and expectations for the movie.
As of now, the Overseas winner is 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' and Domestic circuit winner is 'Khaidi No 150'. There could not be further changes in coming days. Stay tuned for more updates.
