She is no longer the heroine of today or not even an actress but at one time Vijayashanti was the queen of Tollywood. She has paired up with all the heroes and most of her hits came with Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna. But recently she gave a comment which has upset both mega and Nandamuri fans.
Sharing her thoughts in an interview, Vijayashanti reportedly mentioned that after her film ‘Kartavyam’ she was getting heavy remuneration to the tune of Rs 1 crore per film. Not stopping at that, she reportedly added that this was more than what even Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna used to get.
Fans are expressing anger on Ramulamma stating what is the need to draw a comparison and show the big heroes down. Though today is Vijayashanti’s birthday, it is heard that some of the fan groups are planning a protest and demand an apology from her. Will she do it at this point of time? Let us wait and see.
