Tamil Star Hero Suriya has gifted a Toyota Fortuner to his Singham Series Director, Hari. The makers claim that this is a gift to the director on the occasion of Singham—3. But Critics say this may be a publicity stunt for the film or an advance for Singham-4 to the director. Hari confirmed the fourth film as well the other day.
The director in a media interview said that Singham 4 will surely happen after four years and the team is quite excited to continue the series. But then Trade says that this may risky and dangerous as the interest on the Series is decreasing. Tamil Star Hero, Suriya's S3 (Singham-3 / Yamudu-3) did overcome several postponements and finally released last Friday.
There is an uncertainty about the movie release till the last minute due to the political turmoil in Tamil Nadu, as a result, the openings are not to the level of Singham Series. The film has to do up to 22 Cr Distributor Share in AP and Nizam including Prints & Publicity costs to be a successful venture. But then it may not be possible as things indicate. Singham-3 it looks like will end as a Disaster (<15 Cr Share).
