Nayantara who is fondly called as 'Lady Superstar' prefers to do only female-centric movies these days. She clearly ignores commercial movies and movies with lead actors. She was last seen in Karthi's 'Kaashmora' where she essayed the role of Princess Ratnamahadevi.
Now, her upcoming project is 'Dora' under the direction of Doss Ramasamy. He makes his debut with this project. Mervin and Solomon have composed tunes. The movie is based on a Car and the Car is touted to be the hero. The movie which went to censors was recently granted with 'A' certificate.
This has caused a huge upset for Nayantara as most of them label as Nayantara acted in 'A' rated movie. The director of the movie said, "I was confident about getting 'U' or at least 'U/A'. The movie doesn't have violence or profanity.
I even edited the scenes as per censor board request. But still, they granted 'A' certificate. We have sent the movie to revising committee. The first success of the movie would be getting 'U' ratings." The movie is all set for a grand release on March 31st.
