Veteran Filmmaker Mani Ratnam and Tamil Star Hero Karthi's Cheliya has released across the globe the other day. The movie and its Tamil version, Kaatru Veliyadai have opened to disaster talk and reviews in Andhra Pradesh, Nizam and Tamil Nadu. The Openings of the movie are also disappointing everywhere and going by the reviews, there is no chance of revival as well.
This will come as an advantage for Victory Venkatesh's Guru at the box office which is in its second week. Dil Raju purchased the film for an outright deal of 5 Crore and incurred another 2 Crore expense on Prints and Publicity. This will result in a huge losses for the Senior Producer and distributor.
Mani Ratnam after several flops just got an average with his last film, Ok Bangaram. But then this disaster result will mean that things are worse again. Dil Raju will have to be saved some extent from the satellite rights of the movie.
