Amaravathi sources have stated that the actor cum politician Pawan Kalyan will meet Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on July 31st to discuss the kidney related diseases in the Uddanam region of Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh. Sources have stated that the actor who toured Uddhanam region last year consoled several people suffering from kidney-related issues in Srikakulam.

Meanwhile, according to reports, his party is also making arrangements for a visit by experts from Harvard University to examine patients from Srikakulam villages. It was stated that over 4,500 people in the village died of kidney diseases in the past ten years. It was reported that each family in the area had at least one person suffering from a kidney ailment.


Recently a team from Harvard University had conducted a research in 2016 and found that excessive silica in water is the main cause of the disease. The team stated that the water was not suitable for drinking and cultivating. Currently, the announcement of the Pawan's meeting with Chandrababu Naidu has triggered public curiosity.
