Superstar Mahesh Babu will be the first hero in Tollywood to make an investment in Amaravati, the upcoming Capital of Andhra Pradesh. The actor is planning to set up an international school in Amaravati. This project is in collaboration with a producer, who is very close to his family and has also produced two of his films, for setting up the school.
Earlier, the International school is planned in Hyderabad but finally chose Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh government has promised incentives to those who set up institutions in the newly formed state while Hyderabad has a plethora of International Schools which will not serve the purpose.
So considering all those factors, Mahesh Babu voted for Amaravati for his first investment in the Education Sector. The official announcement will happen very soon. Mahesh is currently shooting for his Murugadoss' Spyder and Koratala Siva's Bharat Ane Nenu.
