It was for the first day out of Yervada jail for Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt on Saturday who is camped at Yeravada jail in Pune for 42 months .He was taken out first time in past two months as he has been facing health issues in the Jail.
The actor was taken to Sassoon Hospital where he met a team of four doctors and under went a full general medical check-up in the hospital but neither jail authorities nor hospital officials revealed any information regarding Dutt's health and treatment. The medical check-up of the actor lasted for at least three hours. Soon after his treatment in the hospital, Dutt was taken back to the prison amid tight security.
Dutt was allowed to have home food and medicines by the TADA court when he surrendered on May 16 to serve his remaining 42 months sentence following his conviction in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case. The 53-year-old actor was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case for possessing illegal weapons and ordered to serve another 42 months.
Meanwhile two of his films including Policegiri , were released last week and they had only averaged at the box office but no losses. However another 4 films with an investment of Rs.200 crore were locked up in cans have to wait in till his release after 3-1/2 years
