Yesterday marked the completion of legendary actor Padmashree Kamal Haasan's 58th year in Cinema, and on the occasion, the classy actor presented a list of his favorite movies. In this list of 70 films that the actor had mentioned in his interview to an English Daily, his own 1994 flick "Mahanadi" had a place, and the actor revealed a shocking incident behind the inception of the film.
"My household help, all of them conspired to kidnap my daughter for ransom. They even did a dry run, but I discovered their plan accidentally. Angry and unnerved, I was even ready to kill for my baby's safety" said the actor, recollecting the horrific situation that happened in his life. Kamal Haasan, however, didn't divulge further details, as to whether it involved Shruthi Haasan or Akshara. But sources say, it is Shruti Haasan!
Kamal further added that he was supposed to complete a script, which was however delayed by this incident, by almost a month. "However, when I began to write the script, the script wrote by itself, maybe assisted by my fear, apprehension or paranoia," said the actor.
