Anushka Shetty starrer Bhagmati, also starring Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan (last seen in Jr NTR starrer Janatha Garage) is on its way towards a grand release. UV Creations , which is bankrolling this venture has made an announcement that the shooting of Bhagmathi is complete, and the release date will be announced soon.
Reportedly, Anushka plays a fearless IAS officer, who aims to resolve the issues in the society and serve the people, fighting against powerful evils. It must be noted that Bhagmathi, directed by Pilla Zamindaar fame Ashok, had been in production for long, and the huge delays were attributed to Anushka's commitment to Baahubali as well as Size zero, for which Anushka had gained weight , and the team had waited for her to get back to shape as well.
