Pretty actress Ritu Varma, despite starting her career in Tollywood with smaller flicks and small roles in biggies like Badshah, rose to fame with the 2016 feel good romantic entertainer Pellichoopulu by Tharun Basker, opposite the current sensation Vijay Devarakonda. She further established her position as a successful heroine by scoring yet another hit with Sudheer Varma's revenge drama Keshava opposite Nikhil Siddhartha.


Little do people know that the actress was supposed to make her Kollywood debut with a flick titled China opposite Kalaiyarasan of Madras, Athe Kangal fame. Though the Film is yet to find its theatrical release, the actress bagged a biggie in Tamil opposite none other than Chiyaan Vikram in the form of Gautham Vasudev Menon's Dhruva Natchathiram. Now, she has bagged yet another interesting project, as she has been signed to play the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in a direct Tamil film which will be helmed by Debutant Desingh Periyasamy, a shortfilm maker. 


Meanwhile, Dulquer has so far starred in two direct Tamil flicks, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Ok Kanmani, and is currently busy with Bejoy Nambiar's SoLo, a Malayalam/Tamil bilingual and Mahanati, the Savithri biopic which is a Telugu/Tamil Bilingual. He has also begun working on his debut Bollywood flick Kanwara with Irffan Khan and Mithila Palkar. Let's see if Dulquer and Ritu can create magic on screen.
