Of late, it has become a trend for teams of movies to promote their products in the extremely popular TV reality show Bigg Boss, hosted by Tarak in Star MAA. Besides the regular promotional events like audio launch, trailer launch events, the film crews are much interested in promoting their films in Bigg Boss as well.
Rana Daggubati entered the Bigg Boss house to promote his August release Nene Raju Nene Mantri, and recently Allari Naresh entered Bigg Boss house as a guest to promote his recent release Meda Meeda Abbayi.
And in a similar way, 'Jai Lava Kusa' team also entered the Bigg Boss house to promote the movie. However, it got some bad reception and most of them criticized in the social media. It really boomeranged on the team itself. Most of them commented that a good movie is a promotion by itself and doing such overdose promotions is always going to backfire!
Meanwhile, visual and print media promotions are in full swing, and yesterday, besides interesting new release date posters, the team also released the video promo of the red-hot dance number "Swing Zara" set to tune by Devi SriPrasad, featuring Tamannaah in a sizzling belly dancer avatar, in ultra-glamorous attire, shaking legs with Jr NTR. The Jr NTR starrer triple action Dhamaka is all set for a grand worldwide release this Thursday (Sep 21).
