Young hero Simbu aka STR, the son of veteran actor/ Director T.Rajendar, has been going through an extremely bad phase. Of Late, none of his films clicked at the box office, and his downfall began after Poda podi, following which he delivered continuous disasters like Vaalu, Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, and AAA.
Of these, the latest, Anbanavan Asarathavan Adangathavan opposite Tamannaah and Shriya turned out to be a colossal disaster, almost threatening his career.
However, the confident and bold self that he's, the actor had made an announcement last month that he has plans ready for his next flick, and surprisingly, this one will not be a Tamil flick but will be an English one, and that this flick will not be having any Songs or interval.
However, after the recent update that Simbu will play the lead role in Maverick maker Maniratnam's upcoming multi-starrer, confusion prevailed over the status of the English flick. The confusion over the project has been cleared as sources close to the actor have revealed that Simbu will first complete Directing his English flick, which will be completed by December, and will begin shooting for Maniratnam's movie by January 2018.
The untitled English film will have dialogues by classy director Gautham Menon, music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Cinematography by Santhosh Sivan and editing by Anthony. However, most of them say that he never learned his lesson as working under Maniratnam would be the better choice for his sinking career!
