Sayyeshaa has been one Bollywood product, who has been finding it difficult to sustain in the south. Despite her beauty and performance abilities and glamour, the actress hasn't really been successful down south, with disastrous debuts in Tamil and Telugu with Vanamagan and Akhil respectively.
Even in Bollywood, the actress had a mediocre debut with Ajay Devgn directorial Shivaay. However, the actress is hoping for a comeback in the south with her upcoming movie with Karthi. Directed by Pandiraj, the movie will be a feel-good family entertainer, and for the first time in her career, Sayyeshaa will be seen playing a typical village Belle.
After the first schedule in Chennai, the film will be shot exclusively in Tenkasi. It must be noted that this film also has TV actress Priya Bhavani Shankar as the second heroine. Coincidentally, Priya Bhavani Shankar is playing the second heroine while Sayyeshaa plays the main lead, in yet another movie, the Vijay Sethupathi starrer Junga as well.
