Veteran actress Jaya Sudha, who had been busy in Tollywood with excellent supporting roles in many films like Bommarillu, Kotha Bangaru Lokam, and even this year's Sankranthi winner Shatamanam Bhavathi, is on a break post the sudden tragic demise of her husband Nithin Kapoor.
However, the industry is abuzz with news that the talented actress has signed to play a very important role in Director Maniratnam's upcoming flick. This project will mark the second collaboration of Jaya Sudha with Maniratnam, as they had previously worked together in the 2000 romantic entertainer Alaipayuthey/ Sakhi in which she played Shalini's mother.
This ambitious project is a big budget Multi-starrer, and is produced by the Maverick maker himself, and will begin shooting from January 2018. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Simbu, Fahadh Faasil, Arvind Swamy, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh in important roles.
