There are many times in the film industry when success comes with some after effects of allegations and other manipulations. And even Shah Rukh Khan is having a taste of it now. It is heard that Shah Rukh is being blamed for the poor performance of the Hindi film ‘OUATIMD’ produced by Ekta Kapoor.
According to media reports, Ekta reportedly stated that she was approached by SRK’s film ‘Chennai Express’ producers before release and they committed to remove the film in around 1000 theatres after one week because Ekta’s film was arriving. She had reportedly agreed to that. But after ‘Chennai Express’ released and the response was good the film was not removed.
Due to this, it is heard that ‘OUATIMD’ could release only in 1500 theaters and this has resulted in a loss to Ekta. Sources say when Ekta’s team tried to reach ‘Chennai Express’ producers to find out the reason they were told it was SRK’s decision not to remove the film. Unless Shah Rukh comes with his side of story, truth will not be known.
