It was more like an unwritten rule that anyone who is aspiring to become a director in the film industry has to slog it out by becoming an assistant director first, spend few years and then search for producers and finally get a chance to make debut. But now, many cine aspirants are praising two men in Tollywood.
They are Trivikram Srinivas and Sukumar. Both of them are top range directors and have come up with an initiative. It is heard that the duo is setting up their own individual production houses and are encouraging their assistants to make their debut as directors. Not only their protégés but even those who have skill and talent are being tried out.
This is giving a lot of confidence for the opportunity seekers and they say with someone like Trivikram and Sukumar around, their films would get a much better touch. This is a new wave happening and it could open up a lot of avenues for talented filmmakers. This will also increase the quality of Tollywood then.
