Just two days ago an announcement was made that actor Sunil is getting a life turning role in the form of ‘Bhakta Kannappa’. This is going to be a trilingual and it will be directed by Tanikella Bharani. Many years ago, the film with the same title came and it had Krishnam Raju doing the title role.
It became a big hit in his career. Now, with the new version coming in, it is heard that fans of Prabhas are feeling bad that it should have been done by their star because of the uncle sentiment. But then sources say Prabhas was approached for this film and he declined doing it as he felt his personality will not suit that role.
Adding to that, Prabhas has reportedly suggested the name of Sunil and that’s how everything has happened. The other version is that, since Prabhas is already busy with ‘Bahubali’ which expects him to be busy for the next two years he could not have done it possibly. In a way it looks like this is Prabhas’s gift to Sunil, as per sources.
