Tollywood is the second largest industry in Indian cinema after Bollywood and lately there has been a lot of common factors between both industries. But then, in terms of revenue Bollywood market is much bigger. They have already reached the 300 crores figure a the box office but Tollywood is yet to reach even 100 crores.
But then, some of the recent analysis has shown that even Tollywood can touch the 100 crores mark and it is possible only through two men. They are the duo of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan. According to reports, both the heroes share huge following from people irrespective of their regional location.
Till now ‘Magadheera’ has reached the nearest point by gaining around Rs 89 crores. As for Pawan, his career best has been in ‘Gabbar Singh ‘with nearly 65 crores revenue. Mahesh with his ‘Dookudu’ came till 60 crores. Going by the increased ticket prices and the love for these two stars, Tollywood reaching the 100 cr figure is not far.
