Eversince the release of Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Attarintiki Daaredi, its stupendous success on Tollywood silver screen attracted the attention of filmmakers across the country. Especially Kollywood filmmakers contacted producer BVSN.Prasad for the remake rights.

There was even talk of Ilayadalapathi Vijay starring in the remake as Pawan and Vijay remade each of their superhits. However in a startling statement which amounts to insult to Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Vijay said he is not keen on doing anymore remakes as he has done many in his career.

However many say even if Vijay rejects the offer there are many stars in Kollywood who would be interested to be a part of the remake of the successful project. It has to be seen who will be the Gautam Nanda of Kollywood.
