In today’s calculation, the most powerful camp in Tollywood is the mega camp. It has nearly six heroes and out of them two are powerful superstars and another one is a big hero. So, if a director gets a chance to work with the mega camp then it means that his career is settled for few years because he gets to work with the rest of the members in the family.
But it is heard that there is also another challenge with it. The filmnagar circles say if any director commits with the mega camp heroes, then he should be ready to forget time because they take very long to commit for a film. For example, Sreekanth Addala spent many years trying to crack a film with the mega camp but didn’t work out.
Even Sampath Nandi who did ‘Racha’ with Ram Charan is still preparing to start ‘Gabbar Singh 2’ and it is almost two years. Though there is a lot of demand for actors like Ram Charan it is the time taken and pressure which is scaring the directors. Some are saying it is like a Don’s den because even they don’t know when they will come out.
