Family entertainment movies are still a rage and biggest money croppers in Tollywood. If trade reports were to be believed Sun TV has snapped the satellite rights of this Akkineni starrer for a hefty sum of Rs 8 crore.
The latest multi-starrer from Akkineni family’ ' Manam' has once again displayed that family sentiment still prevailed in the Telugu society as it was seen in the SVSC.Manam film starring late ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in the lead roles has already created a huge buzz within the industry circles and is all set to hit the screens on March 31.
The shooting of Manam is in the last leg and late ANR had wrapped up his part including dubbing ahead of every one and his sad demise might not affect the production and release of the film, says his star son Nagarjuna who is producer . The first look teaser of the film is likely to be released on Valentine’s Day i.e the second week of February and is said to be doing fantastic pre-release business.
Perhaps one of the last stellars of ANR and Tollywood is being directed by Vikram Kumar of Ishq fame which had a string of starlets Shriya Saran and Samantha as the leading ladies. Anup Rubens is scoring the music for this film.
