Srinu Vaitla and Kona Venkat are close buddies. Both of them worked with each other for several successful movies. But differences erupted between them in recent times as Kona alleged that Srinu Vaitla is exploiting the hard work of him and and is taking the success credit to himself. On the other side, Vaitla rubbished all of them and made it clear that he is getting his due as a result of his hardwork.
Finally, they decided to part ways and Srinu Vaitla is working with a new set of writers for his upcoming movie, Aagadu. Kona Venkat then vowed to turn in to director and show his mettle to the whole world. He decreased his projects as writer and worked on a workshop to hone directorial skills.
It is told that Pawan Kalyan promised to do a movie with Kona provided he gets experience.So, Kona has directed a feature film, Romeo and Juliet and the movie production is complete.
The entire film was shot in and around New York and Kona is planning to release it on TV and online this Summer. The first look of the movie will be released for Valentines day. Getting a Pawan Kalyan project will be a win to Kona over Vaitla as the later did not get to direct any film with Pawan. Lets see if Kona Venkat wins over Srinu Vaitla!
