Gone are the days when some Producers make movies on shoe string budgets and sell them for little profit for TV channels. They even do not release them in theaters. Some producers used to earn money like that solely targeting TV rights. Initially, TV channels encouraged them as they wanted to increase their library strength. They offered good prices to movies competing with each other. Now that all the channels have good ammunition. All the channels decided to slow down the TV rights market and bring down the prices. As a result, channels are not competing for small films and every channel is quoting the same price which will be obviously low. Due to this plan of TV channels, 200 films who rested their hopes on TV rights to break even are lying in cans. Sunil's Bhimavaram Bullodu is also facing similar problem. The makers are keen to release the movie only after selling TV rights as the prices may go down if the movie result is not good. Small film producers are worried and are telling that they can not think of producing film unless some amount invested is recovered through TV rights. Lets see how this ends!
