Savitri is the ambitious project of director Teja. The movie script was first penned for Victory Venkatesh under Suresh Productions banner. The movie almost went on floors for several times but never really took off.
Later it was planned with Rana in the lead role under the same banner but that too did not materialize. And now years later, Teja is bringing the project live once again. He reportedly convinced Nani with the script.
The project will now be funded by Multi Dimension Entertainments. Teja is currently busy with his new movie titled Thappu starring all new comers. The movie shooting is progressing at brisk pace and is expected to be complete by this summer.
On the other side, Nani will wait for Teja till the start of the movie as all his movies Aaha Kalyanam and Jenda Pai Kapiraju finished shooting part and are gearing up for release. We will have to see what Teja has to offer Nani!
