Akkineni Family Multistarer, Manam under went Censor proceedings on Tuesday in Hyderabad. The film received 'U/A' certificate even as the makers tried to get a clean U certificate.
Our sources within the Censor board tells us that the movie is an average fare. They say the proceedings of the film are very slow paced and is more like a TV serial than a film.
Trade sources expect the film to do well as there is a lot sympathy following Akkineni Nageswara Rao's sudden demise. As the makers are rightly promoting the film around ANR. This will certainly invoke interest in audience.
Manam is all set for a grand release on May 23rd. Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a little cameo. The movie is produced by Annapurna studios and Reliance Entertainments jointly. PS Vinod has cranked the camera and Anup Rubens scored the music for this prestigious project.
