Mega family is undoubtedly the reigning family in Telugu film industry. From Mega Star Chiranjeevi to Allu Sirish, they maintain more success rate than any other filmy families in the industries. In the past, we have seen some film theaters vandalized when Chiranjeevi was slapped in a film. That was the respect and love they command from their innumerable fans. So, film makers always take care when they are dealing with the image of Mega heroes. But that seem to be not the case with Sai Dharam Tej, the latest entrant in to Tollywood from Mega family. The actor has revealed that he was slapped 14 times by Regina Cassandra, the heroine of her most recent film, Pilla Nuvvu leni Jeevitham. Director wanted to get a perfect expression from the actor in that scene and repeated it for 14 times to get it right. Sai Dharam Tej reveals that he got a similar treatment in his debut film, Rey too. He was reportedly slapped eleven times by Sayamani Kher, the heroine of the film for the same reason. Looks like Sai Dharam Tej may have to approach Brahmanandham who impressed Nagarjuna with his expressions for tight slaps (Remember that comedy track 'Chempa dhebbalaki meerichina reactions Nagarjuna gariki baga nachayi' episode in Mahesh Babu's Dookudu. Sai Dharam Tej's career is currently at X roads now. His debut film which was in production for more than 2 years is yet to see the light. Even before the release of his first film, he almost completed the shooting of his second film. It is said that YVS Chowdary had shot the budget of Rey by several folds and even half the amount is not get-able now  as the budget is beyond the stamina of a new comer.
