It is known to our readers that Gunasekhar is using real Gold Jewelry for Anushka in Rudramma Devi. He has struck a deal with Nadendla Anjaneyasetty Gold makers, Chennai to rent the Jewelry. The company will send the jewelry through a representative in the morning and take the consignment back in the evening. Likewise 1.5 Kgs of Jewelry was brought from Chennai on Saturday morning to Rama Naidu Studios.
The bag was kept in a van during the lunch break. After the lunch, the movie unit found that the bag is missing. Hence, the production manager has lodged a complaint with Gachchibowli police station. Police have taken few persons into custody for questioning whom they are suspecting. It is not known how many of the ornaments are real and how many are imitation. But they say the lost consignment will cost more than 50 Lakhs.
Rudramma Devi shooting is going on at brisk pace. The makers are canning scenes on Allu Arjun who is going to play the role of Gona Ganna Reddy in the movie. Catherine Tresa is pairing up with Allu Arjun in the role of Anamika Devi. The entire shooting of the film will be completed by September. The movie is said to be India's historical stereoscopic 3D film in which Anushka will play the title role.
Rana will play the role of Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, the prince of Nidavardhyapuram (Present Nidadavole). Guna himself is producing the movie and had roped in some top class technicians on to the project. Maestro Ilayaraja is the music composer. Thota Tharani is erecting all the sets for this historical film.
