Tamil Director cum actor Kalanjiyam is reported to be seriously injured in a road accident. The director, along with two of his associates, was travelling in a car near Ongole after attending wedding when the accident took place.
Sources are rife that one of director’s co-passengers named Arun was spot died, while the Kalanjiyam and another passenger have been admitted to a private hospital. Kalanjiyam was said to be bleeding when joined in hospital and suffered injuries in his neck.The hospital sources say that Kalanjiyam’s condition is critical and he is at the ICU now
Kalanjiyam has directed few Tamil films includes Poomani, Kizhakkum Merkkum, Poonthottam, Nilave Mugam Kaattu, Mitta Miraasu, Karungali and Oor Suttri Purana.Kalanjiyam was recently in news for his rift with actress Anjali and he even filed defamation case on her.
It may be noted that actress Anjali had alleged that Kalanjiyam and her aunt Bharathi are usurping her hard-earned money and the director has filed a defamation case against her.
