Sensational director Shankar and Creative Actor Vikram's upcoming offering 'I' is creating sensation in the audience and film lovers with the stunning posters. The audio of the film was made available in iTunes a day ahead of the release and they are also being embraced well. On the other side, the movie is creating sensation in the trade as well.
The Telugu rights of the film were picked up for a whopping 30 Crores by Mega Super Good films, RB Choudary. The sensation is not over yet. Recently an entertainment channels has approached RB Choudary with an offer of 7 Crore for the satellite rights of the movie which is a record by all sorts. But RB Choudary is expecting nothing less than 10 Crore for the Telugu TV rights.
Experts say it is difficult for the makers to sell the movie TV rights before the movie release and may have to wait till the movie release to sell the rights at their rate. That 10 Crore deal may happen only if the movie gets bigger than blockbuster range. If the movie gets on to become a failure, the movie will not even get the 7 Crore quoted before the release. So, the makers seem to be very confident of the film output.
The Tamil TV rights have been picked up by Jaya TV for whopping 22 Crore. Hollywood superstar Arnold Schwarzenegger will be attending the launch along with stalwarts like Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan in Chennai this evening. Mozzarat of Madras, AR Rahman will be performing live to all the songs at the event. The makers are spending 7 crore for the audio launch event alone.
