Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Pataas is all set for a grand release on January 23rd, this Friday. The actor will be seen as corrupt Police officer and had undergone a huge makeover for this role. Accordingly, the movie is promising and the debutant director Anil Ravipudi has done an excellent job. The first half of the film is okay with hilarious comedy scenes and second half would be racy like Surya’s Singham. The story is about Kalyan Ram, a corrupt police officer who always tries to create disturbance to his senior officer cum his Dad Saikumar by helping villains. A sudden twist in the story forces change in him to become honest and fight evil.
Second half and the comedy scenes are said to be the strength of the film. Overall this will be a far better film from Kalyan Ram after a long time. Kalyan Ram himself is producing the film under the banner NTR Arts. It stars Sai Kumar, M.S. Narayana and Ashutosh Rana in prominent roles. Shruti Sodhi is the female lead while Sai Karthik composed music.
