Hyderabad Traffic Police have been very strict over the last few years in dealing with drunk and drive cases. They are conducting drives every day particularly weekends and are even booking some VIPs. Many film stars have got caught in these drives. One such celebrity is director cum writer BVS Ravi.
BVS Ravi is so far caught twice in the police check full drunk and driving his car. The last instance being in September 2014. Previously he was caught in April 2014 which means twice in six months. The Police have appealed to the Transport department to cancel his driving license and subsequently it is decided that his license will be cancelled for a period of six months.
Hyderabad Police also announced the cancelling of the driving licenses of few high profile businessmen in the city. BV.Subrahmanyam famously known as BVS Ravi and Maccha Ravi, famousl has directed Gopichand's Wanted. He is more busy as a writer particularly aiding Puri Jagannadh and Ram Gopal Varma.
BVS Ravi even produced a film titled Second Hand starring New Comers last year and it is his first production venture. But the film bombed miserably at the box office.
