If we dig into the past, Nayan and JD Chakravarthy acted in a movie, Dubai Seenu, together as brother and sister but now they are going to be a pair. An industry source expressed his feeling saying "It'd not been possible if it's a Telugu film.
Malayalam films have that raw element and it's story-driven industry. So experiments could work there but not here." The source appreciated the bold decision taken by the hot heroine and said that no other heroine would do that if it wasn't Nayan.
