Picture House Media Ltd, the Production house of Potluri Vara Prasad had filed a criminal case on Shruti Hassan for quitting their multistarer film starring Nagarjuna and Karthi. After the first schedule of the movie completed, Shruti Hassan walked out of the project citing dates clash. However the makers claim that the dates given by her are mutually agreed before.
Shruti just emailed the makers about the exit and now her decision will incur huge financial loss and also disruption of the schedules planned by the team. So the movie makers have initiated Civil and Criminal Proceedings against actress Shruti Hassan.
And in the court hearing, the Honourable Judge has taken cognisance of this civil offence and issued an injunction order which prevents her from signing any new movie until further orders. For the criminal offence, Police have been instructed to investigate the matter.
According to sources close to Shruti Hassan, she is working round the clock right now. She already has four films in her kitty and recently had to allocate some of her dates for the promotion of her ready to release film, Gabbar. Amid this huge schedule, she felt it is impossible to accommodate dates to the multistarrer film. Also the film is slated to have most of its part to be shot in Dubai which will make things much tough.
