He funded for the project when YVS Chowdary is at his all time low and later even saved the project from financiers after the film was left in cans for more than 3 years. It is said that Pawan Kalyan did all this as he liked Sai Dharam Tej very much and wanted him to succeed as a hero.

Pawan Kalyan attended the movie launch as well as audio launch of the movie. A song 'Tribute to Pawan Kalyan' was canned for the movie and will be added to the movie on Tuesday or Wednesday. However experts say the song addition can not help the movie in any ways. The movie's box office performance was below average in the first weekend.
