The arrogance of star kid is the basic problem for all the starry tantrums in the industry. Budgets are shooting up for the sole purpose of indiscipline of the stars in many occasion. One such case is with Lakshmi Manchu for Budugu. New Producers have funded this film and Lakshmi Manchu showed them nothing but stars in day light.
The makers were alert to finish the film in a single non-stop schedule but they have gone haywire due to the Lakshmi's personal commitments. However the actress still insisted on extra payment for the extra four days work. She even went to the extent of asking the important TV rights deal for the paltry 9 Lakhs pending payment for her. TV rights these days form the major chunk of small film revenue. Asking for them is equal to ripping the producer apart.
However she backtracked on the resistance of the producers. She cornered them in all possible ways by delaying the dubbing and not attending the promotions of the film. Sad that all this happened with Mohan Babu's daughter who claims that discipline is in their blood.
