Cine actor and Hindupur MLA, Nandamuri Balakrishna had showed his heroism to the Police at Mahanadu. Balakrishna was asked to park his car in the VIP parking area and walk up to the event venue. But Balayya refused to that and asked his driver to drive to the main entrance of Mahanadu.

When Police again tried to stop his car, it was then, the Hindupur MLA stormed at the Police using all kind of abuses on the Police. Some media cameras caught him saying 'Rey Evaru Anukuntunnav Nenu?". Later Balayya explained to media that there is a huge rush of fans and party workers so that he did not agree to walk to the venue due to security concerns.
On the other side, Police say that they only followed the prescribed procedure in Balayya's incident. They clarified that the party did not give them any instructions regarding special treatment to Balayya. TDP should have taken care of it in the first place as Balayya is the son of Late NTR and Brother-in-law of Chandrababu Naidu.
