Mahesh Babu's Srimanthudu and Rajamouli's magnum opus film, Baahubali's teasers were released in few hours gap and managed to garner good response from the fans. Though both the movies have no similarities in terms of story, genre and magnitude of the film, the comparisions may be evitable very soon.

Srimanthudu will be releasing on July 17th

The other day, Mahesh Babu had announced that Srimanthudu will be releasing on July 17th as planned earlier. The makers of Baahubali remained tight-lipped. But this morning Karan Johar's Dharma Productions which acquired the rights of the film's Hindi version gave the release date ads in all National Newspapers that the movie is releasing on July 17th.

Both the films releasing at a gap of one week will mean that a clash is inevitable and both the films will eat away the other film's release theaters and openings. July is not a great season to accommodate two big films. On the other side, sources say there are still some chance of Baahubali postponement.
